What is error correction?

A QR code stores redundant data so it can still be scanned even if part of it is damaged, obscured, or dirty — like a QR on a worn label or with a logo overlaid in the centre.

Low (7%) — smallest code, least resilient. Best for clean digital screens.
Medium (15%) — good balance for most uses.
Quartile (25%) — ideal for print or branded QRs with overlaid logos.
High (30%) — maximum resilience, largest code.

C++ compiles it

Your input is processed by a native C++ algorithm compiled to WebAssembly — no third-party QR libraries. Supports QR versions 1–40.

3

QR rendered & ready

The code is drawn on canvas. Download as PNG or SVG, copy to clipboard, or share the link.

100% Private

Your data is never stored, logged, or sent to any third party.

Native Speed

Compiled from C++ to WebAssembly for near-native execution speed.

Open Source

Full C++ implementation and Wasm build pipeline available on GitHub.

Is QR Studio free to use?

Yes — completely free, with no account, no limits, and no watermark. The source code and Wasm build pipeline are open source on GitHub.

Is my data stored or uploaded anywhere?

No. QR codes are generated entirely in your browser via WebAssembly. Nothing is logged, stored, or sent to a server or any third party.

Can I add a logo to my QR code?

Yes. Use the logo overlay option to place an image in the centre. Pick a higher error-correction level (Quartile or High) so the code still scans reliably with a logo on it.

What is error correction?

Redundant data that lets a QR code keep working when part of it is damaged, obscured, or dirty. Levels range from Low (7%) for clean digital screens to High (30%) for print and branded codes with logos.

Which formats can I download?

PNG for everyday use and SVG for crisp, scalable graphics. You can also copy the code to your clipboard or share a link.
